People like the word secret. It drives a bit of curiosity however, there isn't really a secret but, I needed to get your attention somehow. Progression is important in your training. The feeling of achievement and the physical signs of improvement make all the effort feel worth it. However far you want to take your training and skill set there truly is only one path that will get you to hit your progress targets.
I get emails and messages everyday from people asking me how fast they'll become efficient in Kali, how long it'll take for them to become instructors and even how many repetitions do they have to do. The truth is if these types of questions are primary to you, the news whether you like it or not is, you've already quit before you even got started and will never reach those aims.
It's simple math really. If you're looking to perform only at the minimal requirement you'll never make it training with people like the Kali Center team. You'll never last training with the high performers in Kali around the world. The bar is raising each day because of people like myself who are committed to the process and dedicated to daily training, exploration and pushing the limits of our physical, mental and emotional boundaries in Kali, life and profession.
It's good to dream and have massive targets in Kali and life but, trying to take a path of minimal effort and least resistance will never allow you to achieve those results. Take time out of the equation. Take the number of repetitions out of the equation and replace them with focus intensity training. Daily training. It is the only true way.
Of course training daily alone isn't guaranteed to give you the progressive results you're looking for but it's where you need to start. Train everyday, focus on your performance with every repetition, train persistently. That means in any terrain and under any conditions whether you like it or not. Get out and train with high performers even when you cannot "afford" too. You cannot have an excuse to not train. You cannot focus on problems that are holding you back from training. Kali is about creating solutions and demanding outcomes.
First, you need to build the habit and routine of training daily with maximum focus and effort. If you walk into my class thinking you'll be able to progress through minimal performance you will not come back. You won't want too.
Second, if you do want your focus and effort to provide accelerated results, which is possible but, still with maximum effort and persistence on your end, then you need the process and to strictly follow the process. There is a process to accelerated skill growth but, understand, the training will be physically demanding and at times mentally exhausting and emotionally draining. Why? because you need to build these strengths and endurances.
Step one of this process is letting go of counting restraints. Let go of expected time and repetition so that you could focus on maximizing performance. Follow a process like what I've built at Kali Center University that's proven to give accelerated results. And get around the High Performers whenever you can.
Follow this simple formula and you will reach your goals. Your goals and targets won't have a choice but to be hit. Prepare your mindset to be performing at maximum capacity, find someone who can teach you a process to accelerate your skill and get committed and obsessed with the training and lastly, get around the high performers as often as you can.
Whether it's with Kali Center or not I hope you make 2018 your turnaround year for your training. There are so many benefits that will improve your Kali and your performance for reaching your personal and professional targets.
Train on my friend. Train everyday with focus, demand and commitment.
